A company can apply to Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) to strike its name off or Deregistration of the company from the Register according to the Companies Act.
Conditions to meet Striking off the Company:
- No active business operations
- Has closed all bank accounts.
- Has cancelled the GST status with IRAS, If your company is GST registered.
- Has no court proceedings both inside or outside Singapore.
- Has no property assets and creditor liabilities.
- Does not owe any debts on taxation to IRAS.
- Must not have any unsettled summons/fines with any government departments.
- Must consent in writing to the striking off by all directors and majority shareholders.
